The Chanel Collection Essentielle De Chanel Paris-L.A. Palette Goes Great Without a Tan - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Before my hair appointment yesterday (I'll post pics soon. 🙂 But here's a hint: Vanessa Hudgens!), I swung past the Chanel counter to check out the Chanel Collection Essentielle De Chanel Paris-L.A. Palette ($85) in person.

I saw it the other day on The Non-Blonde and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since.

With the limited edition holiday palette for eyes, cheeks and lips, Chanel says they were shooting for something hip similar LA nevertheless elegant like Paris. Information technology comes with two lip glosses, one a shimmery plum and the other a shimmery carmine plum; one shimmery plum lipstick; 3 pulverization eyeshadows in matte biscuit, matte taupe and matte plum; a shimmery, bang-up pinkish cream chroma with a hint of gold; and two creamy yellow-based concealers. That'southward 9 bits 'o Chanel for $85…which is just about every bit close to a burn sale on Chanel as we're e'er probable to see.

Chanel says the palette plays nicely with all skin tones, only I dunno. The colors await pretty sheer, especially the shadows, swatched on the dorsum of my paw, which is probably somewhere effectually an NC35. It might take some fourth dimension to really build upwardly these shades if y'all're a very tanned gal. Lighter lasses, upon which the pigments would POP!, should have better luck with these. 🙂
